The register (2022 to 2025) holds 398,588 entries. This explorer shows 384,853 of them, 98% of the "awarded" amount: the recipients with an enterprise number that are legal entities. Not shown: 1,919 without an enterprise number, 11,816 with a number no longer (or never) in the open KBO data.
Awarded and paid are two different amounts and are never added. Corrections appear as negative amounts in the register.

How these figures are counted
Every night Checked reads five public registers: the Flemish subsidy register, the subsidy cadastre of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, the federal government's financial transfers (FPS BOSA), the European Commission's Financial Transparency System and the CORDIS research database. The figures are as the register publishes them; Checked adds them up per recipient, year and programme within one register.
The registers do not count the same money: awarded and paid subsidies, payments, invoiced transfers, attributed shares of EU commitments and contributions to research projects. That is why this page shows one register at a time and no total across registers.
Only legal entities with an enterprise number appear in the lists. Natural persons and sole traders are not shown, even where the register states their number; they do count in the coverage above.
