Help & FAQ

Short answers to the questions we hear most — freshness, early signals, GDPR and the API.

How often is the data refreshed?

KBO: daily. Belgisch Staatsblad: usually within 24h. NBB annual accounts: shortly after they are filed.

What is an interim administrator and why does Checked show it?

Under WER art. XX.32 a court can appoint an interim administrator weeks before formal bankruptcy. It's one of our most valuable early signals.

Why don't I see director names?

Full director history with cross-mandates requires a signed-in account (free from the Free plan) for GDPR compliance reasons.

How is Checked different from Companyweb?

Two differences: we show interim administrators (WER XX.32) prominently — often weeks before formal bankruptcy — and our risk score is fully transparent, every component visible.

There's an error in my company dossier — what now?

Our data is from public sources. Correct the source first via the Belgian Business Counter (KBO) or the relevant court registry. Our page follows within 24–72h.

Do you process personal data? What about GDPR?

Yes — director names from public registers are personal data. Legal basis: legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f GDPR). See our privacy@T("-pagina",""," page").

Can I export the data?

PDF export per dossier is a Professional plan feature. The browser's 'Print → Save as PDF' works free.

Do you have an API?

Yes — a public REST API is live, free up to 60 req/min. Full documentation: API docs →
