On 19 July 1990, WERFEN was incorporated.1 The capital was increased 2 times between 2004 and 2024, most recently to EUR 1.1 million.23 Since 2014 the company has been called Werfen.4 IMMUCOR LIFECODES was merged into the company in 2024.3 In 2026 the registered office moved to Zaventem.5 Of the 2 current board members, Jakob Lepercq has served longest, since 2022.6
