“De stichting heeft als belangeloos doel, met uitsluiting van elke winstoogmerk, van elke politieke, godsdienstige of taalkundige bekommernis, de verwezenlijking van roepingen bij jongeren aan te moedigen, zonder onderscheid van sociale afkomst, noch van intellectuele vorming, voor zover die roeping de sociale, economische, culturele en/of artistieke ontwikkeling bevordert. Om dit doel te bereiken kent zij beurzen toe, waarvan de hoogte en de frequentie door de raad van bestuur worden vastgesteld. Zij kan tevens alle andere middelen aanwenden die zij nodig acht om dit doel te bereiken, zoals de toekenning van erelonen, bijstand aan laureaten, enz.”
