The Merode was incorporated on 3 December 2004.1 The registered office moved to Bruxelles in 2010, to Forest in 2014 and to Bruxelles in 2020.234 The name was changed to Wild Gallery in 2014 and to The Merode in 2023.56 Between 2014 and 2015 the capital was increased 2 times, most recently to €10.9m.78 The board currently has 2 members; MAES Jean-Philippe has served longest, since 2017.4 Total assets fell from €5.4m in 2019 to €4.4m in 2025 and headcount from 1.9 to 17 full-time equivalents.9
