Het voorwerp mag worden uitgebreid of beperkt door middel van wijziging van de statuten. De vennootschap mag de functies van bestuurder, commissaris of vereffenaar in andere vennootschappen waarnemen. De vennootschap is verbonden door de rechtshandelingen van de bestuurder(s), zelfs indien die handelingen buiten haar voorwerp liggen, tenzij zij bewijst dat de derde daarvan op de hoogte was of er, gezien de omstandigheden, niet onkundig van kon zijn; openbaarmaking van de statuten alleen is echter geen voldoende bewijs.
