Het Verdrag inzake de Rechten van het Kind,opgesteld door de Verenigde Naties,stelt dat elk kind recht heeft op de mogelijkheid zich optimaal te ontwikkelen.Wij als organisatie streven ernaar deze doelstelling te ondersteunen,via de organisatie van educatieve activiteiten voor kansarme jongeren.We zijn er sterk van overtuigd dat elke jongere(ongeacht de socio-economische achtergrond)over unieke talenten beschikt.Om deze talenten verder te ontwikkelen heeft elk van hen een eerlijke kans op de juiste begeleiding nodig.Als organisatie willen wij ons steentje bijdragen door de jongeren bij de groei van hun talenten te helpen.
  2. We willen interculturele uitwisseling promoten en ondersteunen.Ons doel is om mensen aan te moedigen om contact te leggen en te interageren met mensen van andere culturen.Op deze manier zullen mensen uit verschillende culturen elkaar beter begrijpen,wat vervolgens bijdraagt tot interculturele solidariteit en tolerantie-twee kernwaarden waarvoor onze vzw zich inzet.
  3. Wij ondersteunen vrijwilligers bij hun deelname aan sociale projecten,waarbij educatieve activiteiten voor kansarme jongeren worden georganiseerd.
  4. Voorbeelden van deze activiteiten zijn:taallessen,drama,sport,dans.Deze activiteiten hebben meerdere doelstellingen,waarvan de volgende de belangrijkste zijn:1.Preventie:jongeren van de straat houden door hen een zinvolle bezigheid te bieden;2.Safe space:creëren van een veilige omgeving waar jongeren zich thuis voelen 3.Empowerment:jongeren versterken door hen te laten inzien dat ze met hun talenten positieve dingen kunnen realiseren.4.Toekomstperspectief:bijvoorbeeld via taallessen,aangezien het beheersen van meerdere talen een voordeel is bij het vinden van werk of het voortzetten van hun opleiding.
  5. Daarnaast kan de vzw alle activiteiten ontplooien die rechtstreeks of onrechtstreeks bijdragen tot de verwezenlijking van haar doel,met inbegrip van bijkomstige commerciële en winstgevende activiteiten binnen de grenzen van wat wettelijk is toegelaten en waarvan de opbrengsten altijd volledig zullen worden bestemd voor de verwezenlijking van haar doel.
