De vereniging heeft tot algemeen voorwerp om een op wederzijds respect gebaseerde samenwerking met één of meerdere lokale partners in het Globale Zuiden tot stand te brengen en te ontwikkelen. Bedoelde samenwerking, in wezen gericht op duurzame, structurele ondersteuning, situeert zich prioritair op het vlak van de zorg voor "moeder en kind" in de meest brede zin. De bevordering van de gynaecologische, matemale, perinatale en pediatrische gezondheidszorg in al zijn aspecten, met als ultiem doel een reductie van de moeder- en kindersterfte binnen onze actieradius, staat hierbij centraal. Verder kan de samenwerking ook verband houden met het algemeen welzijn van partners in het Globale Zuiden via steun aan onderwijs, infrastructuur, voedsel- of waterprojecten en degelijke meer.
