History

On 5 July 2007, ASOBV was incorporated.¹ In 2009 the registered office moved to Antwerpen.² The name was changed to Kunsthuis Opera Vlaanderen Ballet Vlaanderen in 2014 and to Opera Ballet Vlaanderen in 2019.³⁴ Antwerp Symphony Orchestra was merged into the company in 2026.⁵ Today the board has 16 members.⁶
